Is Gamestop open on Labor Day?

Video games are the lifeblood of America. Ok, not really, but they’re fun. Most of the time. What do you do when you want to buy a game, maybe you don’t have $60 to burn and maybe it isn’t offered online? Go to Gamestop, obviously. With hundreds of titles, across multiple consoles, Game Stop has something for everyone, old school, and new school alike.

Whether you’re interested in some collectibles, special order items, or the latest and greatest in video game entertainment, Gamestop has something for everyone. The only question is does Gamestop have something for everyone, on Labor Day?

The answer is a resounding yes. Well, mostly. Most Gamestops should be open on Labor Day and will observe regular shopping hours as well. As with any store or place of business, you’d be best to call ahead or look up local times online to make sure your local Gamestop is open and what times they open at and stay open until.

So if you’re in need of the latest PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo offerings, or maybe you have some stuff you just need to unload and you don’t want to use a sketchy website, then you’ll be able to do all that and more at Gamestop on Labor Day.

Gamestop is also running a Labor Day sale, so if you hurry you can still get up to 50% of selected items in the store. Just remember when you go to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and be respectful to everyone in the store, especially the employees. Despite it being a national holiday for the working class, not every member of the working class get to have it off.
