Ezekiel Elliott is still very good, and he wants us to know just that

Zeke wants us to feed him, and the Cowboys are taking that advice to heart. Dallas scored their first touchdown of the season on a swing pass to Elliott. Zeke got plenty of room to run in the flat, and juked out about half of the Rams defense on the sidelines en route to his first score.

Perhaps most interesting isn’t the score itself, but the tattoo Elliott opted to show off in his touchdown celebration. Yes, it says “feed me”.

The score itself was ridiculous enough, making for a highlight-reel play and arguably the best run of Week 1 so far.

Four defenders all flopped at Elliott on the sidelines. Perhaps they just assumed he would go out of bounds? Who knows, but it didn’t work out in the Rams’ favor.

Can the Cowboys live up to expectations in 2020?

The Cowboys have the talent, but they get in their own way more often than not. With Dak Prescott playing on the franchise tag, it could be Super Bowl or bust for Dallas, as they’ll be forced to pay him big money this coming offseason or start over at the most important position in sports.

Dallas opted to pay Elliott before Prescott, a curious decision given positional importance. But if they can get Dak, Zeke and Amari Cooper signed long-term, and therefore solidify their offense for the immediate future, the Cowboys will be set to contend for years to come.
