Allen Robinson is clearly not happy with his contract situation with the Chicago Bears and made some big changes to his social media pages on Tuesday.

Despite the Chicago Bears taking down the Detroit Lions in Week 1, there’s some drama brewing inside the locker room for the team. That’s because wide receiver Allen Robinson is not happy with his contract, with him sending a message to the organization via his social media pages.

On his Twitter, Robinson removed the Bears from his bio. On top of that, he deleted all of his Bears photos from his Instagram page. He did that for a reason, folks. With Robinson frustrated with the front office, fans have come out in support of him to get a new deal.

Even Bears running back Tarik Cohen decided to join the party, calling for Chicago to extend Robinson as soon as possible.

Will the Chicago Bears give Allen Robinson a new deal before it’s too late?

In the thrilling win over the Lions on Sunday, Robinson finished the day with five receptions (most on the team) for 74 yards. He’s coming off a sensational 2019 campaign as well, where he caught 98 balls for 1,147 yards and eight touchdowns.

After signing a three-year, $42 million deal in 2018, Robinson is in the last year of his contract and is set to become an unrestricted free agent next offseason. In addition to Cohen, fellow Bears receivers Cordarelle Patterson and Darnell Mooney have also spoken out in support of Robinson in his search for an extension.

The veteran wideout is no doubt Chicago’s No. 1 receiving option, with him developing a close bond with quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Will Bears general manager Ryan Pace reward him with a new deal? As things stand, Robinson’s future in The Windy City looks clear as mud.

Next. Bears optimistic they’ll have fans at games later this season. dark
