Drew Brees. player. 15. QB. New Orleans Saints. 7. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

2020 stats: 472 yards | 64.7 completion % | 3 TDs | 1 INTs | 6.9 YPA |

Last Week: 7

Brees stays put for the week. The raw stats weren’t bad, and Michael Thomas was out, but Brees threw an ugly pick in the second quarter and failed to make many tight-window throws. The future first-ballot Hall of Famer hasn’t been bad, but he’s not been himself either.

Pick Analysis. QB. player. 123. Scouting Report. Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott. 6

2020 stats: 716 yards | 68.6 completion % | 2 TDs | 0 INTs | 8.3 YPA | 79.1 QBR

Last Week: 8

In one of the most improbable wins you’ll ever see, Prescott largely played it safe. He only threw for 266 yards and attempted one pass more than 15 yards in the air. Still, he moved Dallas consistently, leading to a wild 40-39 victory.

44. Matt Ryan. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Atlanta Falcons. 5

2020 stats: 723 yards | 67.8 completion % | 6 TDs | 1 INTs | 8.0 YPA | 78.9 QBR

Last Week: 6

Ryan has to be beside himself. The Falcons have one of the league’s most prolific offenses and they’re 0-2. On Sunday, Ryan was terrific, throwing for four touchdowns despite an egregious drop by Julio Jones on a beautiful deep ball. Somehow, it’s never enough with Dan Quinn in charge.

Pick Analysis. QB. Green Bay Packers. 4. 49. Scouting Report. Aaron Rodgers. player

2020 stats: 604 yards | 67.6 completion % | 6 TDs | 0 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 90.9 QBR

Last Week: 4

This week, Rodgers was once again let down by receivers. The Packers dropped umpteenth passes, and Rodgers still managed to throw a pair of touchdowns while avoiding any mistakes. The line wasn’t robust in the 42-21 win over the Detroit Lions, but watching the game, Rodgers managed the offense beautifully with some top-tier throws mixed in.

QB. Lamar Jackson. 3. player. Pick Analysis. Baltimore Ravens. 26. Scouting Report

2020 stats: 479 yards | 77.6 completion % | 4 TDs | 0 INTs | 9.8 YPA | 80.8 QBR

Last Week: 3

Jackson continues to run less while using his arm to greater success. He only went for 204 yards and a touchdown in the air against Houston, but he picked the Texans apart on short throws over the middle. An interesting note, though: Jackson only attempted four throws outside the numbers all game, completing one.

Scouting Report. QB. Patrick Mahomes. Pick Analysis. Kansas City Chiefs. 2. player. 124

2020 stats: 513 yards | 64.6 completion % | 5 TDs | 0 INTs | 6.5 YPA | 85.9 QBR

Last Week: 1

Mahomes’ numbers aren’t the gaudy figures we normally see. Yet, the film shows a quarterback who took a pounding against the Chargers and managed to throw for 302 yards and two touchdowns without committing a turnover. Just check out his 54-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill, followed by the comical throw on the ensuing two-point conversion to Mecole Hardman.

36. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Seattle Seahawks. QB. Russell Wilson. 1. player

2020 stats: 610 yards | 82.5 completion % | 9 TDs | 1 INTs | 9.7 YPA | 87.4 QBR

Last Week: 2

Right now, Wilson is playing better than any quarterback on the planet. He’s the early leader for MVP, throwing a league-high nine touchdowns. All of his numbers are absurd, highlighted by a completion rate exceeding 82 percent. This despite his penchant for throwing deep. Against the Patriots, Wilson attempted four passes of 16+ air yards. Three went for touchdowns.
