Clayton Kershaw just passed Roger Clemens in the history books at Game 2.

Historically the postseason hasn’t really been all that good to Clayton Kershaw. And Thursday night’s first 2020 postseason start for Kershaw had Los Angeles Dodgers fans on pins and needles waiting for their beloved star to inevitably come crashing down to earth.

So far, that hasn’t happened.

In fact, Kershaw did so well that he passed an MLB legend in the record books in his Game 2 start against the Milwaukee Brewers. Kershaw passed Roger Clemens for the fourth-most playoff strikeouts of all-time at 174. This number has probably already gone up as we’re writing this as Kershaw is still on the mound and looking fresh as can be.

If the Dodgers win on Thursday, they advance

The Dodgers are hoping to close out the Wild Card series with back-to-back wins over the Brewers, but the game is scoreless and things are getting a bit testy for the fans of both teams.

If the Dodgers win on Thursday, they advance to the next round. If they lose the Brewers have forced a Game 3 and everyone’s stress level rises.

Next. Dodgers fans want Kenley Jansen removed as closer but Dave Roberts doesn’t care. dark
