DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Since we’re taking a pass on Shved, that thins out the upper tier of guards a bit. There’s still plenty to choose from though. Sergio Rodriguez is the one that stands out to me with the superb matchup against Munich. Malcolm Delaney is worth a look too if you want to stack that backcourt.

Facundo Campazzo became the dominant guard for Real Madrid last year thanks to injuries to the elder statesmen of that backcourt. He’s the strong play for Real Madrid again. I just don’t know that I want to pay more for him with Sergio right there.

Pierria Henry battled inconsistency last year, but he’s capable of putting up big numbers. He’s the man for Baskonia this year and is cheaper than most with his responsibilities.

Lorenzo Brown has a bit of a tougher matchup, but this Belgrade backcourt doesn’t have much for stars. The discount on Brown is nice in a matchup that I’m not sure is that bad for him. Jordan Loyd is a solid pick on the other side of this for the price point, but I think I prefer to run Brown at him instead.

There’s plenty of value at guard today with all of the injuries. Dairis Bertans and Evgeny Voronov are going to take on large roles in that Khimki backcourt with Jovic out and Shved limited if he can play. Bertans is high on my value list today.

The same goes for their opponents. Athens is missing two guards as well. Nemanja Nedovic is usually a starter anyway and is really the only one I would trust. None of the other four guards on their roster have EuroLeague experience.

Nick Laprovittola and Jaycee Carroll will see expanded roles with Llull out. Both are reasonably priced here. Carroll is a little more proven, but Laprovittola had a better season last year.

We should see an increased role for Michael Roll with Punter out. Still, Rodriguez and Delaney are going to see a majority of the action in the Milan backcourt. Still, Roll is cheap enough to take a chance on if you need salary relief.

Luca Vildoza will likely be wearing a mask to protect his broken nose, but he’s an absolute steal at $4,800. Baskonia has plenty of combo players like Rokas Giedraitis, but they are going to need the ballhandling of Vildoza any time Henry is of the court.
