DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

If Monroe doesn’t play, it wont hurt Khimki much. This frontcourt it loaded with the likes of Janis Timma, Jonas Jerebko, Devin Booker, Sergio Monia, and even Jordan Mickey. Jerebko is probably the safest play, but I expect all of them to play around 20 minutes. That hurts the fantasy value of all of them. I’m going to wait a game or two to see how this plays out before jumping on this frontcourt.

Real Madrid is a frontcourt focused team, and with guys like Walter Tavares and Anthony Randolph, who can blame them? The bad news is that Baskonia allowed the fewest fantasy points to forwards in the 2019-20 season. Are they really worth the price?

Jan Vesely might be the safest option among top tier forwards, but he doesn’t have the upside of, say, Jerebko or Tavares. With all of the value at guard, you can play just about any forwards you want.

Tonye Jekiri and Walter Tavares are on a campaign to prove that the conventional center isn’t dead. Oftentimes it works in the EuroLeague as they dominate the boards, but today they are playing each other. I think it will serve to limit the effectiveness of both.

The Milan frontcourt is often overshadowed by the guards, but this is a loaded frontcourt with a good matchup as well. Zach Leday had some big games before the shutdown and he’s probably my favorite of the bunch. Shavon Shields is the most inconsistent but may have the highest ceiling.

There is some nice value up front for Athens if you need it. Ioannis Papapetrou and Georgios Papagiannis both turned in nice years last year and seem priced low to start the season.

Gabriel Deck carved out a role for himself in the Real Madrid frontcourt last year. That role should expand a little with Taylor out. Alberto Abalde is going to take some of the action, but Deck could be in for a great game for the price.

There isn’t much for great value at forward. A guy like Achille Polonara could see increased usage since Youssoupha Fall has only seen action in one domestic league game and it was sparingly. With Zoran Dragic also out, it would seem that Polonara would soak up most of the minutes.
