A’s announce Games 1 and 2 starters for ALDS versus Astros. 

The Oakland Athletic’s are the next team with the shot of stopping the Houston Astros on their way to another World Series championship when they face the former cheaters early next week. Now, just days before the first pitch, the A’s have announced who will be on the mound for the first two games of the potential three-game series.

According to A’s manager, Bob Melvin, Chris Bassitt will start Game 1 and Sean Manaea with start in Game 2. There was no announcement for a Game 3 starter as both teams hope to not have to have a third game.
