Kirk Cousins is continuing to struggle in Minnesota, and the Vikings might have to do something soon.

It appears as though Stefon Diggs’ desire to get as far away from Kirk Cousins as possible is looking wiser by the day.

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback, who was signed to a nice long-term contract due to his ability to avoid the big mistake, now has 10 interceptions in the season after throwing three against the Atlanta Falcons. The calls for Cousins to lose his starting job have only gotten louder.

The Vikings need to switch up their quarterback situation if they want to keep up with the rest of the NFC North, and these three quarterbacks might be able to give that offense the jolt they need.

These three quarterbacks could end up replacing Kirk Cousins with the Vikings

Pick Analysis. QB. Indianapolis Colts. Jacoby Brissett. 3. player. Scouting Report. 46

Brissett has had it rough in Indianapolis. After starting for an injured Andrew Luck, moving back to the bench, and then taking over the starting role after his retirement, Brissett moved back to the bench when Philip Rivers arrived in town.

While by no means Peyton Manning, Brissett was a respectable starter for two seasons, going 11-19 while throwing for 31 touchdowns against just 13 interceptions. Brissett has shown that if given pieces around him on the offensive line and out wide, which Minnesota has plenty of this season, he can win games and compete against some of the best teams in the NFC.

Still, given his relatively low ceiling, there is reason to believe that Brissett isn’t the guy for the next decade. With the Vikings now scrambling for answers after realizing that Cousins might not live up to his high price tag, they need to find someone that is young, has enough arm strength to hit Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson down the field, and can avoid turning the ball over.

While he might not be a household name, Brissett might be the quickest fix if the Vikings want to ax Kirk after his poor performance in recent weeks.
