Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe are an athletic power couple

You would struggle to put two more successful athletes together in one relationship.

Bird is a four-time WNBA champion with the Seattle Storm, where she has played since she was drafted No. 1 overall in 2002 out of UConn, where she won two national championships. During her exceptional pro career, she has been named an All-Star 11 times. She also has multiple Olympic gold medals in her trophy case.

Outside of America, she’s been just as successful, winning multiple titles in the Russian National League and the Euro League.

Rapinoe has also been hugely successful in her athletic career. She was the 2019 winner of the Ballon d’Or Feminin as the best women’s soccer player on the planet. She led the US Women’s National Team to World Cup triumphs in 2015 and 2019 and also boasts her own Olympic gold medal. She has played for the OL Reign in the National Women’s Soccer League since the team was founded in 2013.

The two have more than enough silverware between them, but the newest piece of jewelry for each is pretty important too.
