Aaron Rodgers has been one of the most consistent fantasy quarterbacks this season.

The Green Bay Packers are the presumptive favorites to win the NFC North this year and may very well represent the NFC in Super Bowl 55 down in Tampa, Florida. Their toughest test in the division has to be the Chicago Bears going forward because of their feisty defense. Will quarterback Aaron Rodgers have a top-eight quarterback fantasy performance vs. Chicago?

The Fantasy Footballers recognize how strong of a fantasy player Rodgers has been all season. This has been a terrific year for him from a fantasy football perspective. Only twice has he been below a top-eight fantasy quarterback this season. Those games can in that disaster vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and vs. the division rival Detroit Lions when Aaron Jones took over.

With the game being at home, that may tip the scales in Rodgers and Green Bay’s favor here. However, the Bears routinely play in low-scoring games because of their menacing defense and their bottom-of-the-barrel offense. Rodgers may not turn the ball over, but it has been difficult to regularly move the sticks on this balanced Bears defense. Something has to give here, right?

Keep in mind all 32 teams will be playing in Week 12 across the NFL.

Thus far, it has been a good bet to start Rodgers in fantasy and get a top-eight performance comparatively out of the quarterback position. One thing that Jason Moore does bring up that is important is all 32 NFL teams will be playing this week, as no one is on their bye week. So instead of competing against say 27 other quarterbacks, Rodgers now has to theoretically battle 31.

Unless the Bears eat his lunch, Rodgers should be able to give you a QB1-level performance, but it remains to be seen if he will certainly be in the top two-thirds of that upper fantasy echelon. For the sake of simplicity, you should probably side with Rodgers being able to give you a top-eight fantasy performance, even if it is a huge rivalry game vs. the Bears and that great defense.

Ultimately, it is great to be able to count on a quarterback like Rodgers to give you great performance after great performance from the quarterback position. Though the Bears could absolutely give him trouble like the Buccaneers did several weeks ago, you are going to look awfully stupid if you think for even a second about not starting him. Just roll with him. R-E-L-A-X.
