Nick Chubb’s Cleveland Browns could end the Pittsburgh Steelers’ quest to perfection.

Nick Chubb and the Cleveland Browns can upset the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17.

While it is a few weeks out, one of the most intriguing matchups of the NFL‘s Week 17 slate may be the clash between AFC North-contending Steelers and Browns. Cleveland is poised to make its first postseason berth since 2002, while Pittsburgh could be the first team to win all its regular-season games since the 2007 New England Patriots. Chubb and the Browns can beat them.

It is a potential opportunity to get excited for if your a member of the Browns

“It hasn’t crossed my mind yet, but that day will come and we’ll see where we are then,” said Chubb to FanSided‘s Mark Carman on behalf of Snickers’ Hungriest Player of the Week. “I don’t know how I’ll be feeling then, but I’ll probably be pumped. It will be interesting.”

Entering Week 13, the Browns are an impressive 8-3 on the year and in second place in the AFC North behind the Steelers. Cleveland has a huge road date this week at the Tennessee Titans, and Chubb knows this. If Cleveland gets to 9-3, the Browns might be as good as 12-3 heading into Week 17, where they could be facing a potentially undefeated 15-0 Steelers team.

While a division crown may be out of the picture for the Browns by then, playoff positioning will still be something worth playing for. Cleveland should get in this year as a top-seven seed in the AFC, but will the Browns get in as the No. 5, No. 6 or No. 7 seed? Having the opportunity to play the worst division winner in the Wild Card round is worth fighting for. So is stunning Pittsburgh.

So what are the chances Cleveland gets to 10 or 11 wins and hosts a 15-0 Steelers team? From the Cleveland perspective, pretty good. While the Baltimore Ravens game could be challenging in Week 14, the Browns will be massive favorites over the New York Giants and the New York Jets in Weeks 16 and 17. Pittsburgh still has three tough games before even playing Cleveland again.

Ultimately, Pittsburgh may end up dropping a game to either the Ravens, the Buffalo Bills or the Indianapolis Colts before the Steelers head to Cleveland. But should the Steelers enter Week 17 undefeated, they will play their tails off for a shot at perfection against a Cleveland team fighting for playoff positioning and the chance to play spoiler. It is a rivalry game, so you never know.

If the Browns shock the Steelers in a few weeks, Chubb will be a big reason for that.
