The calendar may say it’s December, but the bat flip of Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña is in midseason form.

Ronald Acuña Jr. is one of the best young hitters in all of Major League Baseball. With his outstanding powers, Atlanta Braves fans have grown used to seeing him hit some eye-opening dingers.

Unfortunately, it’s the winter and everyone in Atlanta is forced to wait until April to see Acuña do what he does best with a bat in his hands. Actually, that’s not the case. Acuña is enjoying some time off in his native Venezuela and appeared to suit up for a game. As you can see in the video below, Acuña blasted a monster home run and his celebration was even better.

Ronald Acuña is looking to have another brilliant season for the Atlanta Braves

What’s better here, the homer or the flip of the bat? As soon as Acuña made contact, he knew the ball was leaving the yard. The emphatic screams from everyone on hand let us know he hit a dinger too. It’s just Acuña being Acuña.

The celebration deserves a 10 out of 10. He took a few steps, made sure the camera was on him and flipped that bat like the entire world was watching. Thanks to the powers of Twitter, the clip of his dinger has gone rival and rightfully so.

Entering 2021, Acuña will look to have another strong season for the Braves. In the shortened 2020 campaign, he hit 14 homers. In his 2019 All-Star year, the Venezuelan hit 41 homers and added 101 RBI. With so much young talent on the Atlanta roster, fans are hoping they can compete for a World Series in the near future. If they get that job done, Acuña will play a big role in that.
