Early college football DFS picks December 19: Is revenge best for DFS?

I’m sad. This is our last big college football DFS tournament of the season. We were supposed to have 11 games on the main Saturday slate for DraftKings, and there are some really good ones out there. The Big Ten(14) and Big 12(10) Championships kick at noon Eastern. So does Florida State in Winston-Salem and A&M in Knoxville. The one that doesn’t is the Fun Belt Championship, and that pretty much destroys CCU’s chance at a New Year’s Six Bowl.

It’s hard to top that, but the afternoon tries. We have an early Pac 12 tilt with the Cougars in Salt Lake City. The afternoon continues with Ole Miss heading to the Bayou to take on LSU. Missouri heads into StarkVegas. We have the rematch of the year at 4pm Eastern when Clemson gets a shot at Notre Dame with Trevor Lawrence. We finally get the battle for Paul Bunyan’s ax and we close off the afternoon with The Mountain West Championship from the real Vegas as BYU takes on “home” team San Jose State. This is a great slate!

It is important to note that we have lost at least one game on the early slate every week for the last six weeks. Keep an eye on cancellations. They are everywhere this year.

I ended up with a nice showing on the afternoon slates last Saturday. It was enough to break even despite a lackluster showing in the early and late slates. Let’s get primed for another strong week!

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
