Even former Bears standout linebacker Lance Briggs is tired of all the trade news surrounding the Chicago Cubs.

Chicago Cubs fans across the country remain stunned after the organization decided to pull off a stunner and trade Yu Darvish to the San Diego Padres. Just like that, the superstar righty is leaving Wrigley Field to head to the sunshine in southern California.

While that trade brought concern to the Cubs fanbase, it’s since been reported that the team is considering making additional moves, including sending catcher Willson Contreras out of town. Seriously?

This has caused plenty of negative feedback from the Chicago Supporters, including former Bears superstar linebacker Lance Briggs. Even Briggs had to take to Twitter to tell the Cubs front office that he doesn’t like what he’s seeing out of his favorite club.

The Cubs could trade Willson Contreras after also sending Yu Darvish to San Diego

As you can see, Briggs is not happy with what’s going on at Wrigley. In addition to the Darvish and Contreras news, the team is also reportedly looking to potentially trade stud third baseman Kris Bryant.

If reports leak that Chicago wants to trade first baseman Anthony Rizzo, we might start seeing protests going on outside the stadium until the start of the season. With the Cubs GM role still vacant, fans are hoping someone gets hired soon so they can start talking some sense into everyone.

Until that happens, all the heat will continue to go in the direction of president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer, who is losing support by the second in the Windy City. If Contreras does end up leaving, you can bet thousands of folks will be furious, Briggs undoubtedly will be on the list.
