Megan Rapinoe called Najee Harris’ hurdle in Rose Bowl
By John Buhler
Megan Rapinoe knew Najee Harris would hurdle a Golden Domer in the Rose Bowl.
Not only is United States Women’s National Team star Megan Rapinoe incredible on the pitch, but she is a football oracle, as she accurately predicted Alabama Crimson Tide star running back Najee Harris would hurdle some poor Notre Dame defender in the Rose Bowl.
Harris mentioned during the Rose Bowl’s introductory press conference that he took inspiration from Rapinoe, not only as a competitor but as an ambassador for human rights. Rapinoe quote tweeted a clip of his message and told him to “be great, get those roses and hurdle someone for me.” Well, guess what? Harris did just that vs. the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Rose Bowl.
Megan Rapinoe is an unquestioned football Nostradamus
Did Harris take this as a challenge to jump over an overmatch Golden Domer on New Year’s Day? Potentially, but when you are the front-runner to win the Doak Walker, you certainly have the ability to leap over a would-be tackler. So there is no debate that Rapinoe is an unquestioned Nostradamus. Every Alabama football prediction she has made so far has come true.
