Ohio State football fans told Clemson football head coach Dabo Swinney what his name is.

Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney‘s name might as well be mud, as legions of Ohio State football fans were wiping the floor with it after their Buckeyes trounced his Tigers in the Sugar Bowl.

In most Tiger football games, they’re grrrreat! But without their favorite Tiger Tony Elliott, Ryan Day’s bunch caught them by their toes. The vaunted Clemson attack could not keep pace with Justin Fields and the Buckeyes’ all-out aerial assault in primetime. Once the clock struck midnight on the East Coast, Buckeye Nation in the Big Easy did not let their 11th-favorite coach off easy.

Ohio State football fans let Dabo Swinney have it

Calling someone names is something you do in grade school, but that boy made a huge mistake. He treated Ohio State like a Marshall stack owned by Spinal Tap, so they went to 11 on his ballot. Nobody liked that, not even his friends. Then again, he may need to get new friends because friends don’t lie. Let’s hope he likes butter on his Egos because there is no sugar for him tonight.

Ohio State fans could have said far worse things to Swinney besides his four-letter nickname.
