Rivals of the Crimson Tide reacted on social media to Alabama’s dominant performance against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Alabama rolled through the SEC this season and did the same to Notre Dame and Ohio State in the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide picked up a dominant 52-24 win over the Buckeyes in Monday’s National Championship Game and were never really challenged at any point in the game.

All fans of rival SEC teams could do was watch with the false hope the Crimson Tide would somehow lose. Some even openly appreciated the great season from Alabama.

Tennessee fans are one day hoping to watch their Vols reach the level of the Crimson Tide. There was a bit of a clear theme from their fans about what rooting for Alabama means.

Georgia and Florida fans combined to take a more pro-SEC approach. If anything, they want to prove a point to teams like Ohio State that the SEC should always have two teams in the Playoff.

The Crimson Tide are champions once again and the rest of the SEC can begin planning on how to find any way to slow down the defending champs.
