29. Rashaun Woods – Oklahoma State Cowboys

Going back much earlier this century, Rashaun Woods started the new millennium at the Oklahoma State University. He got his feet wet his freshman season, but he wasn’t really able to spread his wings until the 2001 season. That started his run of three-straight 1,000-yard seasons. He also had at least 10 touchdowns in each of those seasons.

His stats speak for himself. He was a two-time, consensus first-team All-American. He broke Big 12 records for yards, receptions and receiving touchdowns. His 42 touchdowns were tied for ninth all-time. His 4,200 receiving yards are eighth all-time. On September 20, 2003, he had seven touchdowns against Southern Methodist. That is a record for touchdowns in a game that still stands today.

There’s no doubt how great Woods was during his time at Oklahoma State. He had huge games across his career, but where he really placed himself in Cowboys’ hearts is when he took over the game against Oklahoma in 2001. The fourth-ranked Sooners were upset by their unranked in-state rivals. Woods ended up with 129 yards and a touchdown with less than two minutes left to win the game.

Woods has one of the best resumes in college football. His numbers are insane and that was with a quarterback who ended up playing baseball instead of football professionally.
