Mack Wilson offers words of encouragement for Patrick Mahomes ahead of Sunday’s game.

After knocking the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback out of the AFC Divisional round, Cleveland Browns linebacker Mack Wilson showed his support for Patrick Mahomes to go out and get it on Sunday evening in the AFC Championship game.

Mahomes cleared concussion protocol on Friday afternoon, meaning the superstar signal-caller will be getting the start vs. the Buffalo Bills at home with a trip to Super Bowl 55 on the line. This is the third year in a row the AFC Championship game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium. However, the Chiefs have split the pair before this. Will Mahomes propel the Chiefs to victory?

It sure sounds like Mack Wilson will be rooting for Patrick Mahomes on Sunday

Some people may have labeled Wilson’s fourth-quarter hit on Mahomes a dirty play. However, most view it as a football play and these sort of things happen. Regardless, Mahomes’ backup Chad Henne did just enough with his arm. . .and his legs to lift the Chiefs to another AFC Championship game. Only the Bills stand between the Chiefs and a trip to Gulf Coast Florida.

Kansas City will have its work cut out for it, as Buffalo will be its toughest test to date. The Bills are not only good, but they too are Super Bowl-caliber. They have an MVP candidate at quarterback in Josh Allen, as well as a phenomenal coaching staff, a healthier roster and are undoubtedly playing with house money. Mahomes must be the difference for a Kansas City win.

Look for Mahomes’ health to continue to be a major factor throughout Sunday’s title bout.
