Scotty Miller called out Tyreek Hill by saying he’s faster than him and Patrick Mahomes isn’t having any of it.

What in the heck is Scotty Miller thinking? Leading up to the Super Bowl showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, the wideout came and out said he’s faster than Tyreek Hill. As you might imagine, Miller is getting owned for making such an absurd statement.

If you ask Patrick Mahomes, there’s no question he’s going with his guy, as he said Hill would win in a race between the two. On top of that, Mahomes really had a perfect response to radio host Dan Patrick asking him if this provides the team with some extra bulletin board material.

Patrick Mahomes’ focus is on winning the Super Bowl and not how fast Scotty Miller is

Mahomes was all smiles when Patrick brought up Miller’s comments. He definitely backed up Hill, but you can tell he’s not going to use any of this as extra reason to get himself ready for the showdown with the Buccaneers.

Mahomes and Kansas City have bigger things to worry about than how fast Miller is and if he can beat Hill in a race. Coming off an impressive showing against the Bills in the AFC Championship Game, Mahomes is ready to try and have an ever bigger showing against the Bucs.

Things won’t be easy for him, as veteran left tackle Eric Fisher suffered a torn Achilles and will of course miss the big game. That’s terrible news for Kansas City, especially going up against Tampa Bay’s frightening pass-rush. Despite that, the Chiefs are 3-point favorites and Mahomes is locked in on bringing home Super Bowl title No. 2 with the team.

Maybe after he lifts the Lombardi Trophy, he’ll start worrying about Miller’s speed. Until then, Mahomes and Hill will focus on the task ahead: taking down Tampa Bay.
