With Super Bowl LV around the corner, having the proper snacks is essential to a good day.

A tradition unlike any other, the Super Bowl is more than just a game. It’s a moment where fans and family members can sit around the television while enjoying two of the best teams square off.

If you’re like most fans, you usually aren’t watching the game alone. Instead, you’re out at a Super Bowl party, kicking back and relaxing with the gang while enjoying something to munch on.

For the unlucky member of the group who drew the short end of the straw, lost in the name out of a hat, or even worse, openly offered to host the big day, congratulations on finding this page. A party usually is known for having music, dancing and small talk.

A Super Bowl party? It’s all about the food. All one has to do is follow these steps in selecting the menu and your shindig will be the talk of the office on Monday morning or your group chats.

What’s the perfect Super Bowl party menu?

Even for those non-wing connoisseurs, buffalo wings and the Super Bowl go together like Tom Brady and Lombardi Trophies. Baked, fried, grilled, it doesn’t matter how they’re made. They’ll taste great.

A pre-snack before the wings will be critical. Go with the classic chips and salsa, even if you aren’t aren’t on a budget. Depending on where you live, homemade queso with real tomatoes and peppers will always be better than any store-brand name. The same goes for guacamole, but only if you have time.

Every party needs finger foods. Some like pigs in a blanket, others like jalapeño poppers. If you can have one, great. If not, get nachos and add them into the mix. It’s basically a full chip deal made into a gooey glop of joy for all.

Location matters so if you own one, fire up the grill and add an All-American classic with burgers and hot dogs. The patties take little time to cook and the hot dogs are the perfect blend of meat and fat that will either melt in your stomach or ease the pain when it comes to watching your team lose.

If you have the time, smoke up a slab of ribs for 12-18 hours until they fall off the bone.

Is there anything else? Oh, of course. Beer!!!

Usually, just tell people to bring their own since everyone is so picky, but if doing a keg, go for the light beer. Any Coors, Bud or Miller will do. Plus, is there a person that actually complains about light beer for a game like this?

Have a dessert treat for the end of the night and get the big TV in the living room. You’re good to go and happy Super Bowl!
