Seahawks safety Jamal Adams could not be happier he’s now in Seattle and away from the disaster that is the New York Jets.

The marriage between the New York Jets and Jamal Adams was nothing short of abysmal. So, when the Seattle Seahawks came and rescued him away from the team, you knew he was ecstatic for his new opportunity.

After just wrapping up his first season with the Seahawks and Pete Carroll, Jamal Adams continues to make it clear he’s incredibly thankful to be with the NFC West powerhouse. He made that much clear in a recent interview, where he opened up about his ’embarrassment’ playing in New York.

Jamal Adams was sick and tired of losing with the New York Jets

In the video above, Adams really didn’t hold back. Straight up, he said that the majority of the guys on the team weren’t ready to grind and do what was needed to be a competitive team. At the same time, Adams felt like there was some embarrassment with being a Jet.

It got to the point where he got trolled for being on the team and being told the Jets are the Giants’ little brother. Imagine being told that?

With Adams taking pride in being a winner and always busting his hump to earn victories, all the losses he played in with the Jets were taking a toll on him both physically and mentally. Fortunately for him, Seattle made New York an offer they couldn’t refuse and Adams is now with the Seahawks.

While the team suffered a Wild Card Round loss to the LA Rams, things could have been much worse for Adams this past season. After all, he could have stayed with the Jets and gone 2-14 in 2020.
