Patrick Mahomes can throw a football further than pretty much any human being alive.

Shortly before kickoff of Super Bowl LV, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was seen throwing some of the deepest passes you will ever see with relative ease during warmups.

Mahomes’ Chiefs are looking to be the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the 2003-04 New England Patriots. Fate would have it the Chiefs are facing the quarterback of those legendary Patriots teams, as Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers are representing the NFC this year. This will be a de facto home game for the Buccaneers playing at Raymond James Stadium.

Can Patrick Mahomes’ rocket right arm lead the Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory?

Even if the game is in Tampa, the Chiefs are a slight favorite to win Super Bowl 55 over the Buccaneers. Kansas City went 14-2 this season en route to the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC. Tampa Bay had to be road warriors in January, as the Buccaneers were only the No. 5 seed in the NFC.

However, this is the Super Bowl, so anything and everything can happen tonight in Tampa.

Mahomes finished third in NFL MVP voting behind Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen. That will fuel his fire as the best player in the league today. While he may be amped to play in this one, he did look cool, calm and collected as he was rifling the football 75 yards down the field from his own end zone. The on-field camera of Mahomes showing off his arm makes one marvel at his athleticism.

Look for Mahomes to give us a few mind-blowing plays when his Chiefs take on the Buccaneers.
