Anthony Sherman . player. 124. Pick Analysis. Kansas City Chiefs. 1.. Scouting Report. FB

This one is not just for the fans, but also for the price. Sherman has been a leader in the locker room and on the field since he arrived in 2013. Seeing him in another uniform is plain weird after his success in the Kingdom.

Following the release of long-time Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt last season, Sherman, Travis Kelce and Eric Fisher all became the longest-tenured members of the Chiefs. He also plays roughy over 67 percent of the snaps of special teams and even recorded a tackle.

Not to mention, fullback touchdowns are the second-greatest thing besides tackles taking it to the house.

Le’Veon Bell will be gone. Damien Williams is a year removed from football. Will Kansas City add another young running back in the draft? If so, they’ll need as much blocking the red zone to be successful with the ground game.

At some point, it’s reasonable to expect that the Chiefs to move off Sherman. The 2021 season is not the year when the momentum is at an all-time high and he still has a year or two remaining to be good.
