The hypothetical Bradley Beal trade saga continues in Washington, as his agent says the star ‘doesn’t want to quit’ on the Wizards.

Since Russell Westbrook has joined Bradley Beal in Washington things haven’t really been going all that well. The Wizards are currently 6-16 and only ahead of the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference.

Bradley Beal has been having an incredible year all for naught.

Beal’s name has been swirling around trade rumors and he’s been vocal about being frustrated with this Wizards team. His contract situation is making things a little interesting. He has one more year left on his contract after this season, and that puts him in prime position for free agency discussions. He leads the NBA in scoring with 32.8 points per game but the Wizards can’t seem to figure anything out.

Still, through the frustration and the losses, Beal maintains that he wants to get it right in Washington.

Despite trade rumors, Beal has made it clear that he’s not seeking a trade. The 27-year-old’s agent says there’s no place Beal would rather be.

“He doesn’t want to quit on something,” Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports & Entertainment told Yahoo Sports. “He’s an incredibly loyal guy, and he wants to always feel like he’s done everything he can to help something or someone be successful.”

There’s still a chance that Beal gets moved before the Mar. 25 deadline but it seems as though the whispers have slowed down since James Harden landed in Brooklyn with the Nets.
