St. Louis Cardinals fans are going to surely be fired up after seeing star third baseman Nolan Arenado in the club’s jersey for the first time.

Without question one of the biggest moves this offseason was when the St. Louis Cardinals pulled off a blockbuster trade to acquire star third baseman Nolan Arenado from the Colorado Rockies. Already major NL contenders, many pundits now expect the Cards to compete for a pennant.

Well, St. Louis supporters will be even more jacked up on Wednesday after seeing Arenado in the team’s jersey for the first time. Arenado means business and it’s clear he’s ready to get things rolling with his new duds.

Nolan Arenado looks fired up to get the season going with the St. Louis Cardinals

As you can see from the team’s tweet, Arenado looks all geared up to get things going for the 2021 campaign. The five-time All-Star has solidified himself as one of the best infielders in the bigs, while he’s also known for having a pretty darn impressive bat.

During the shortened campaign in 2020, Arenado hit eight homers and added 26 RBI. Back in 2019, he had a year to remember, hitting .315 and belting 41 dingers. Unfortunately for Arenado, he didn’t enjoy a whole lot of success with the Rockies. Now that he’s getting ready to suit up with the Cardinals, though, he’s put himself in a position to potentially compete for a World Series.

As you might imagine, baseball fans all over St. Louis love this team’s potential now that Arenado will man the hot corner and be featured in the heart of the lineup. As soon as he makes his debut at Busch Stadium, he’ll be ready to put on a show and send a message to the rest of the NL Central. Get ready, Cards nation.
