Andrew Berry is confident Baker Mayfield will have a strong year in 2021

Berry knows all the changes Mayfield has gone through. Remember when Hue Jackson was his head coach and tried to guide him early on in his career? Yup, that’s a recipe for disaster for any young quarterback out there.

Yet, Mayfield has taken all the hits in stride and helped power the Browns to a memorable showing in 2020. This past year, the Browns finished 11-5 during the regular season and stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round. Then, Mayfield and Co. nearly upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round.

During the regular season, Mayfield went on to throw for 3,563 yards, 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions. In the postseason win over the Steelers, he tossed for 263 yards and three scores.

As he gets ready to enter the fourth campaign of his young NFL career, Cleveland fans are hoping Mayfield can continue to show improvements and help the team capture some big wins. Berry knows he has what it takes to get the job done, no doubt about that.
