After an impressive rookie season, Chase Young of the Washington Football Team gifted his parents with new cars.

Chase Young’s dream was the make it to the NFL. After being selected second-overall by the Washington Football Team in this past year’s NFL Draft, Young showcased his dominance and played an integral role in the team winning the NFC East title for the first time since 2015. Making it in the pros was Young’s first dream, and now, he accomplished his second.

On Monday, Young posted videos of himself gifting his parents with brand new cars! The videos were uploaded to his Instagram account.

Washington Football Team: Chase Young fulfills two dreams

It truly is heartwarming to see Young provide his parents with some new cars as a thank you for helping him make it to the NFL.

Last year, Young was the can’t-miss, generational defensive prospect. If you were a team in desperate need of pass rushing help, Young was the man for you. But, you had to finish with the second-worst record in the NFL to secure the draft rights to select the Ohio State stud. Luckily for the Washington Football Team, they won the sweepstakes.

Young joined an already stacked defensive line that included Jonathan Allen, Montez Sweat and Daron Payne and he dominated against the competition. Through 15 games, Young tallied 44 total tackles (10 for loss), 12 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks, four passes defended, four forced fumbles and three recoveries. Additionally, Young recorded 24 quarterback pressures, 10 hurries and six knockdowns, per Pro Football Reference.

Besides clinching a playoff berth in his very first campaign, Young was named to the Pro Bowl and voted the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Seeing Young surprise his parents with gifts after his tremendous first season will truly put a smile on your face.
