The Longhorns have only had to play once in Kansas City, beating Texas Tech by a point on Thursday night to earn a ticket to the semifinals. Friday turned into an unexpected off day for Texas after Kansas, the Longhorns’ scheduled opponent, withdrew from the tournament after a member of the program’s Tier 1 personnel tested positive for the coronavirus.
