Kyle Pitts 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 4: Cincinnati Bengals

As mentioned many times before by many people, the ideal scenario for the Cincinnati Bengals with the No. 5 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft would be for Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell to fall into their laps. The offensive line is the biggest need in Cincy and Sewell would be a huge boost to that unit.

Having said that, both the Dolphins and Falcons could be in the market for Sewell picking ahead of the Bengals, which means the organization would then have to pivot. And rather than reaching for another offensive tackle, they could instead look to get Burrow another weapon.

Wide receiver would be an option but an upgrade at tight end is more pressing as the Bengals lack a sure option at the position. Pitts could enter the fold in Cincinnati and give young Joe Burrow a host of big-bodied targets to work with in the passing game to further help his development as he returns from a torn ACL in his rookie season.

Kyle Pitts 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 3: New York Giants

Not too long ago, the New York Giants used a first-round pick on tight end Evan Engram out of Ole Miss in the hope that the ultra-athletic prospect could unlock a new element of the passing game. But while Engram has flashed his potential throughout his career, he has struggled to stay healthy to this point. And with the Giants still trying to evaluate the long-term future of quarterback Daniel Jones, they need to upgrade the passing game weapons.

Thus, it would be interesting to see Kyle Pitts suit up for Big Blue moving forward if he’s there for them with the No. 11 pick. New York would have a ton of flexibility with both Pitts and Engram as part of the offense as both players are versatile in where they can line up and how they can be deployed in the aerial attack. Having two big matchup problems would certainly give Jones a much better array of options than he’s been working with of late.
