Tua Tagovailoa is getting some big-time help as the Miami Dolphins have signed former Texans deep-threat Will Fuller to a rich new deal.

Fans in Miami are no doubt rejoicing, as the Dolphins have won the sweepstakes for veteran wideout Will Fuller. While Green Bay Packers supporters were hoping Fuller would make his way to Lambeau Field to make plays for Aaron Rodgers, that won’t be the case.

Instead, Fuller has signed a one-year deal with Miami. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Fuller’s contract with the Texans will be worth more than $10 million for 2021.

Will Fuller signing with Miami is a monster win for the Dolphins

With Tau Tagovailoa entering his second year in the league, adding a deep-threat like Fuller to the Dolphins offense is something that should go a long way toward the former No. 5 pick reaching his potential. The former Houston receiver is known for his incredible speed, which has been showcased over the years in the AFC South.

Last season, Fuller was in the middle of an incredible season, but then he was suspended late in the campaign after a PED violation. He’ll still be suspended for the first game of the upcoming season.

Before the suspension, Fuller had hauled in 53 balls from Deshaun Watson for 879 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games. There were several times where Fuller would make defensive backs look foolish, just flying by them on the way to a big gain.

For Miami, the hope is that Fuller will be able to help spread the field and also make some huge plays for Tagovailoa. Last season, the Dolphins went 10-6, but much of that success was with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. Now, this will fully be Tagovailoa’s show in 2021. Fortunately for him, Fuller is headed to town and he’ll be ready to ball out for his new signal-caller.
