This Carson Wentz hype video will get Colts fans excited for 2021 season (Video)

Indianapolis Colts fans will not be able to wait until the start of the 2021 NFL season after seeing this Carson Wentz hype video.

After five years with the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Carson Wentz is now officially a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Wentz was traded by the Eagles to the Colts earlier this offseason, reuniting with his former Philadelphia offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

This video shows Wentz and his family flying on the Colts’ private jet into the Indianapolis facility. He met with Reich and the rest of the Colts staff upon arrival before beginning an introductory press conference as the team’s new starting quarterback. He replaces Philip Rivers under center, who retired after an illustrious hall-of-fame-worthy NFL career this offseason. It is Wentz’s time.

For as bad as things ended for him in Philadelphia, Wentz could not have landed in a better situation. Reuniting with Reich as his head coach cannot be understated. The Colts have one of the better rosters in football. With hopefully improved quarterback play, Indianapolis can win the AFC South for the first time since 2014, possibly advancing a few rounds in the 2021 AFC playoffs.

With a fresh No. 2 jersey, there are no excuses left for Wentz. He has no choice but to perform in Colts uniform. While Wentz may never play up to the level prior to getting hurt in 2017, if he plays like he did at times for the 2018 and 2019 Eagles, the Colts are in great shape to contend for the division round, or at the very least, get back into the AFC playoffs as one of three wild card teams.
