One NFL Draft prospect loves the idea of joining the Cleveland Browns and playing alongside Myles Garrett.

The 2021 NFL Draft is fast approaching and the Cleveland Browns own the No. 26 overall pick. That is a sharp shift from the usual top-10 selections.

The Browns have most of the roster set and are now looking for upgrades in the draft. One interesting pass-rusher available is Tulsa’s Zaven Collins. He has emerged as a potential first-round pick and recently expressed his interest in lining up alongside Myles Garrett in 2021.

Zaven Collins is ready to play with Myles Garrett in Cleveland

Collins won the Chuck Bednarik Award in 2020, which is handed out to the top defensive player in college football. The linebacker stands 6-foot-4 and would be a dynamic young option on the edge for the Browns.

The Browns made a move with huge upside by signing Takkarist McKinley to a deal this offseason. But there is still a spot for a pass-rusher opposite Garrett with Olivier Vernon sitting on the free agent market.

Garrett, of course, is becoming unstoppable. He had 12 sacks in 2020 and forced a career-high four fumbles as well. The former No. 1 overall pick is an automatic double-team and only appears to be getting better with age.

The Browns are a team players actively want to join in 2021. That is true in free agency and the draft. Garrett was drafted to be a star and has been just that. Any young rookie pass-rusher should be open to the idea of teaming up with such a dominant force.

Collins should go in the first round, but could slide late or even into the second round. The fact he is meeting with the Browns should indicate they see him as a potential option. His open excitement about playing in Cleveland should prove to be a strong point in his favor if he remains on the clock at pick No. 26 overall.
