LeBron James reacted to a particular portion of the new Space Jam trailer that dropped on Saturday morning.

After years of speculation, basketball fans finally received their first look of the newSpace Jam movie starring Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

On Saturday morning, Warner Bros. released the full-length trailer for the movie set for a July 16 release in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service.

The sneak peek featured a cartoon-version of James and the live-action Looney Tunes cast.

After the release, James tweeted he is excited for the film set to release this summer and that he can not wait for everyone to see it.

Miami Heat fans caught a specific scene in LeBron James’ Space Jam trailer

Amongst all the scenes in the two-and-a-half minute trailer, Miami Heat fans’ eyebrows rose at a particular instance.

Of course, that is James dunking a basketball with the assist from character Lola Bunny, which paid homage to his infamous slam off a no-look pass from Dwyane Wade in a 2010 game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Heat’s official Twitter account caught onto that, and James responded with wink and shrug emojis.

In the film, James has to win a basketball game against an artificial intelligence algorithm Al-G Rhythm, played by actor Don Cheadle, to escape virtual reality with his on-screen son.

LeBron recruits the Looney Tunes to face off against Al-G Rhythms Goon Squad, featuring the likenesses of Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson and Diana Taurasi.

With the trailer dropping, that meant the usual LeBron James-Michael Jordan debate reemerged. This time, it will focus on which Space Jam film is better.

As is the case, everyone has their own opinion, and you can make yours once watching the film this summer.
