After DK Metcalf ran in the 100 meters on Sunday, could we see Tyreek Hill lace up his racing shoes and try to put on a show as well?

When Kansas City Chiefs standout Tyreek Hill is on the field, you might blink and then open up your eyes to see him 30 yards past a defender. Seriously, this guy has out-of-this-world speed, and he dazzles whenever he’s on the gridiron.

With that speed, could we one day try and see him race for a shot at the Olympics? DK Metcalf put on a show on Sunday, and now Patrick Mahomes is calling for one of his favorite targets to put himself in the same kind of position.

For Metcalf, he finished in last place of his race, but he recorded an outstanding time of 10.36. Could Hill top that? It’s very much in the cards; the man’s nickname is Cheetah, after all. You don’t get called that without being one of the fastest guys in the NFL. Heck, Hill might be one of the fastest athletes in all of sports.

While Hill hasn’t made it clear if he’d be open to something like this, Chiefs fans will be more than fine with him focusing on trying to get the team back to the Super Bowl for the third consecutive year. Last season, Hill earned Pro Bowl and First-Team All Pro honors after recording 87 receptions for 1,276 yards and a mind-boggling 15 touchdowns.

With him in the prime of his career, you better believe he’ll be ready to have another big season come 2021. If it’s up to Mahomes, though, we may see him hit the track before Week 1 rolls around.
