Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam surprised his mom with an awesome gift for Mother’s Day.

Much like during the holiday season, sports fans look forward to seeing their favorite athletes surprise their moms with gifts for Mother’s Day. It is a way for them to say thank you for everything they have done to help them reach this point of their professional careers. Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam might have set the standard for the 2021 edition of Mother’s Day.

Siakam posted videos and photos to his Instagram account on Sunday, showing his mother a brand new home. As they stood in the doorway, Siakam informed his mom that the house was for her and the family, and she was simply at a loss for words. Check out this truly wholesome moment in Siakam’s post below:

Raptors: Pascal Siakam surprises mom with new home on Mother’s Day

As Siakam says in the caption above, the house was given to his mom to celebrate Mother’s Day and her birthday!

Back in the 2019 offseason, the Raptors rewarded Siakam for contributing to them winning their first NBA championship in history by signing him to a four-year, $136 million contract extension. Siakam’s deal kicked in at the start of this season.

This season, Siakam is averaging 21.4 points (team-high), 7.2 rebounds (team-high) and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field through 56 games this season. Despite that, the Raptors are 4.5 games behind the Indiana Pacers for the final play-in spot with four games remaining in the season.
