Jake Paul declares totally wrong statement that Logan Paul ‘beat Floyd Mayweather’
By Zain Bando
During the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition, Jake Paul provided his own comedic commentary to the spectacle that was the main event.
Both Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul battled it out for eight rounds, and because it was an exhibition, a winner was not declared. However, what may have been more entertaining was the commentary both outside of the boxing ring.
Sitting ringside and supporting his brother, Jake Paul, to the disappointment of the Showtime broadcast crew, wrongfully claimed that Logan was beating Mayweather 3-2 through five rounds.
Jake Paul trolled the Showtime broadcast crew
To prevent any further confusion, Jake Paul’s audio was cut off by the Showtime broadcasting crew, as Jake Paul’s intent was to steer the narrative that the exhibition was closer than it actually was.
“50-1. Holy f*****! My brother just beat Floyd Mayweather,” Paul wrote. At press time, the tweet is going viral, as it has 4,100 retweets, 8,496 quote tweets, and 38,100 likes. The numbers continue to grow as the fight wrapped up a little after 10:45 p.m. EDT.
