LeBron James shows support for ex-NFL player turned boxer Ochocinco after debut
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James gave ex-NFL star Chad Johnson, formerly Ochocinco, a salute after his boxing debut as a Mayweather vs. Paul undercard.
LeBron James appreciates when another athlete does something cool.
So it’s only right James gave a nod to Chad Johnson, once Ochocinco, as he made his boxing debut.
On Saturday, Johnson fought Brian Maxwell in a four-round exhibition bout. James was apparently watching.

There was no judging for the fight, so no winner was declared. However, Johnson took a hard fall when Maxwell connected with his jaw. He got back up and finished the fight.
Ever the showman, Johnson went on to say he’s ready to fight Conor McGregor.
James has free time on his hands after being knocked out of the NBA Playoffs in the first round. The Phoenix Suns got the better of James’ Lakers as injuries took their toll on Anthony Davis.
