Sign restricted free agent Lonzo Ball away from the New Orleans Pelicans

The Bulls and Lonzo Ball seem like a match made in heaven. The Bulls have been linked to Ball in the past, and the guard reportedly has a desire play for the team in the Windy City. Now, the Bulls have the chance to get their guy this offseason.

Through 55 games this season, Ball averaged 14.6 points (career-high), 5.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds while shooting 41.4-percent from the field and 37.8-percent from the three-point line, both of which are career-highs.

It appears that the Bulls have Ball listed atop their offseason wish list. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski expressed his belief that Chicago is going to target Ball and Dennis Schroder to upgrade the point guard position. If they want Ball, the issue is that he is a restricted free agent. So while Ball can get offers this summer, the Pelicans have the right to match the offer. If there is one team that can perhaps make a deal that the Pelicans can not match, it is the Bulls, especially if they want to acquire him that badly.

Chicago needs a consistent point guard, and Ball presents himself as the best and most feasible option for the Bulls. Sorry, the Bulls are probably not going to land a Chris Paul, Mike Conley Jr. or Kyle Lowry on the open market. Still, Ball would be a huge get for the Bulls.
