Former Green Bay Packers general manager Andrew Brandt made it quite clear there’s no way the team will trade Aaron Rodgers this offseason.

What’s going to end up happening with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers? This is a question that cheeseheads out there have been asking themselves countless times over the past couple of months.

As things stand, it really feels like Rodgers won’t suit up for the team come Week 1 and it will be the Jordan Love show to take on the New Orleans Saints. If you ask former team GM Andrew Brandt, he says there’s simply no way Rodgers plays for any other than the Green Bay come 2021.

Per Brandt, the Rodgers situation has not changed whatsoever. Right now, it’s on Brian Gutekunst to either try and improve the relationship, or let Rodgers figure things out on his own. At the same time, don’t look for Gutekunst to trade Rodgers.

If you ask Green Bay supporters, they want the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback to lead the team out onto the field next season and for years to come. Despite climbing in age, Rodgers is fresh off an MVP year in 2020.

However, as soon as the Packers lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game, the soap opera for the team began. Rodgers has made it quite clear he has no issues with his teammates or Love. His beef is with the front office.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see what Rodgers decides to do. It goes without saying, but folks all over Wisconsin will continue to lose sleep as more time passes without Rodgers making some sort of an announcement.
