A missing person flyer for Ben Simmons has actually been posted in Philadelphia after his disastrous Game 5.

What in the heck happened to Ben Simmons in Game 5 of the playoff showdown between the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks? That’s what fans all over Philly are asking themselves after the team choked and suffered a stunning loss. Atlanta now holds a 3-2 series lead.

In that game, Simmons had a horrific showing. He was on the floor for 38 minutes, finishing with a lowly eight points and four rebounds. That’s not what anyone expected from a player of his caliber. The Philadelphia faithful know this, which is why they’ve posted a ‘missing person’ flyer of him around town? Yup.

Fans posting a missing person flyer of Ben Simmons is absolute gold

While Philadelphia supporters are known for being among the most intense in the country, they really have taken things to a different level with this move. At the end of the day, though, Simmons was nowhere to be found in Game 5 when his team needed him to deliver.

Instead, Joel Embiid and Seth Curry were nothing short of dynamite, as the two poured in 37 points and 36 points, respectively. That wasn’t enough, though, as Trae Young was an absolute beast, with his 39 points powering Atlanta to the big-time, comeback victory.

Now, the Hawks are one win away from moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals. Philadelphia on the other hand is on the verge of watching the rest of the postseason from home. In order for the team to stave off elimination, there’s no question Simmons will need to step his game up. We’ll see if the standout player can return to his usual form and help his team get things done come Game 6.
