NBA Twitter explodes after Devin Booker’s flawless Game 1 triple double

Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker put on a show in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers and people are losing their minds on social media. 

The Phoenix Suns have started the Western Conference Finals with a bang, taking down the Los Angeles Clippers 120-114 on Sunday. As you might have been able to guess, Devin Booker was outstanding in this one, powering his team to a win.

In the victory, Booker recorded a triple-double, dropping 40 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. Talk about making an enormous statement. Following the win, people all over Twitter are showering Booker with love and it’s easy to understand why.

Booker indeed showcased why he’s one of the best players in the NBA. With his strong play, Suns fans are dreaming of a potential trip to the NBA Finals. Seriously, what a showing he had.

The Suns had six players score in double figures, but it was Booker who was clearly the best player on the floor from start to finish. He’s been unreal throughout the postseason. You think he was going to slow things down in the Western Conference Finals? Absolutely not. Heading into the playoffs, everyone figured the Lakers would win things out West.

Instead, Phoenix has been superb, now looking to take down the other Los Angeles side to get themselves one step closer to the Finals. In the series against the Nuggets, Booker averaged more than 25 points per contest. Against the Lakers, he posted 29.7 points per showing.

Booker quickly let the Clippers know he’s going to continue to ball out and no one will be able to stop him. Let’s see what the sharpshooter will be able to get done once Game 2 arrives.
