Chris Paul is expected to make his long-awaited return to the Suns lineup for Game 3 in the Western Conference Finals vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Phoenix Suns have been without point guard Chris Paul for the first two games of the Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Clippers. They are expected to get him back for Game 3, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Dave McMenamin.

Is Chris Paul vaccinated?

Paul has been out for the league’s health and safety protocols. Paul is reportedly vaccinated which lessened the time he needed to be isolated from the team, which would have been 10-14 days had he not received the COVID-19 vaccine.

When will Chris Paul return from health and safety protocols?

Tuesday marked the sixth day of isolation for Paul, who is likely to return to the starting lineup for Thursday’s Game 3 after being listed as probable on the Suns’ official injury report. In his absence, Cam Payne has been a revelation.

However, with Paul’s return, Payne will go back to the role he played so well when Paul was in a starring role. During the four-game sweep of the Denver Nuggets, Paul looked as good as ever, averaging 25.5 points with 10 assists per game while shooting 62.7 percent from the field. Perhaps most remarkable was the four turnovers he made in the series.
