If the Heat want to get premier talent, then they should look towards the Sacramento Kings. The Kings have not been in the playoffs since 2006, which is truly baffling considering the talent they have on the roster. But with things continuing to not improve, the Kings may have no choice but to trade some of their stars, including Buddy Hield, who should be a top target for Miami.

The Heat, as mentioned earlier, desperately need some shooters to pair with Butler. If not, then their championship window will remain shut. Bringing in Hield could do wonders for the Heat next season.

Through his five seasons in Sacramento, Hield has averaged 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists while recording a 43.9 field goal percentage and 40.9 three-point percentage. Hield did struggle at points this past season, where his average points per game dropped from 19.2 the year prior to 16.6.

Hield could benefit from playing on a new team as early as next season. Perhaps there is no better fit than with the Heat, where he will play both meaningful minutes and meaningful games for the first time in his NBA career.
