Bellator 287: Adam Piccolotti vs. Mansour Barnaoui live results.

Bellator MMA returns to Italy for Bellator 287, bringing a lightweight main event featuring a veteran talent of the Bellator cage and someone making their debut for the promotion.

After over seven years with the promotion, Adam Piccolotti will be competing in his first Bellator main event, as he takes on Mansour Barnaoui.

Piccolotti last fought in February at Bellator 274, scoring a unanimous decision win over Georgi Karakhanyan. It was his first fight since August 2020 after dealing with a number of injuries.

He was suspended for six months after the fight due to health and safety concerns — a result of a video posted to his social media page, where he mentioned vomiting a number of times in the lead-up to the fight.

While Barnaoui is making his Bellator debut, he has been successful on the regional circuit as a former lightweight champion of Road FC, M-1 and BAMMA. At one point, he fought current UFC fighter Mateusz Gamrot for the then-vacant KSW lightweight championship.

This fight with Piccolotti, however, is Barnaoui’s first since winning the Road FC $1,000,000 lightweight championship tournament in May 2019.

The Bellator 287 co-main event will feature Fabian Edwards, who scored a first-round knockout of Lyoto Machida in May, taking on Charlie Ward, who has won seven of his last eight, including three straight.
