The Denver Broncos didn’t take a dig at quarterback Drew Lock laying down, absolutely destroying Pro Football Focus with a brutal response on Twitter.

Usually, the best advice on Twitter is “don’t feed the Trolls.”

Occasionally, a well-placed jab can be worth the engagement.

The Denver Broncos pulled it off beautifully, turning the tables on Pro Football Focus after the account took a shot at quarterback Drew Lock.

PFF compared a terrible shot by Tom Brady during The Match to Lock trying to find star receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Rather than ignoring the joke, the Broncos brought the hammer.

The Broncos continue to back Drew Lock

The accuracy joke is low-hanging fruit when it comes to Lock. In his second season in the NFL, he completed 57.1 percent of his passes while posting a 4-9 record in Denver.

Many wonder if the Broncos will make a move to bring in an upgrade at quarterback, whether that be Aaron Rodgers or Deshaun Watson. Doing so would take much of the guesswork out of their current situation.

Until that happens, the Denver organization has committed to giving Lock a chance to compete for the starting job. This offseason, the ex-Missouri passer will have to beat out Teddy Bridgewater to keep his job. The two will split first-team reps throughout the offseason, with head coach Vic Fangio showing no signs of wanting to make a quick decision.

The quarterback is still young and developing after joining the franchise as a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. That tweet may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it’s still something for the team to stick up for a player they’ve invested in. Whether or not he comes good, it doesn’t cost the social media team anything to have his back.
