Peyton Manning predicts how Aaron Rodgers drama will come to an end

The future is unclear for where Aaron Rodgers will play, but Peyton Manning knows one thing: it’s probably not going to be in Denver. 

Day ??? of the Rodgers/Packers beef and we are an inch closer to an outcome than where we were when this all popped off. Which is a bit alarming since he’s pretty much been living his best life and probably has Green Bay on DND.

But we can dream on. You can dream on, I can dream on, Von Miller can dream… wait… what?

Yeah, Miller thinks that Rodgers can land with Denver this season and make the Mile-High city the powerhouse that they deserve to be. But is it just wishful thinking? They literally have Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, do they really need to make something shake to get the QB-turned-Jeopardy-host to play for the Broncos?

Peyton Manning doesn’t think that Aaron Rodgers coming to Denver would happen

As a matter of fact, the OG GOAT thinks that when the time comes for Rodgers to finally think about it, he will be in Green and Gold. Manning is a smart man with many years of wisdom, what does he have to support this claim?

Well his gut of course, according to a report from NFL Network. 

“My gut is he’s not coming to Denver. My gut is Denver’s gonna have Drew Lock or Teddy Bridgewater be their quarterback. At this point, you gotta kinda know what your plan is, you can’t be having a new quarterback three weeks before the season.”

Where is the lie in the statement? There is none.

Who has the mental fortitude to bring in a quarterback, Hall of Fame material or not, onto a team with literal weeks before the preseason starts? As a coach, you wouldn’t get a wink of sleep because you’re trying to get your QB to get acclimated to the plays, environment (we’re talking Denver ladies and gents) and team culture.

It’s almost like writing a seven-page-paper with only 20 minutes to spare: there’s a risk you could do really well if you have the stamina and focus. But if you do bad, the results will haunt you forever.

I’m with Peyton on this one, with the amount of time Rodgers would have to make a decision, move to a new team and readjust would not be feasible this late in the game. While Rodgers is frustrated, his future in Green Bay is looking more like a reality for everyone.

That or retirement.
