The 2021 Summer Olympics are less than a week away, and that means that fans are gearing up for one of the most unique experiences in the history of the Games. All of the Olympics coverage is set to broadcast on the NBC family of networks, including the streaming service, Peacock TV.

While the opening ceremonies are set to broadcast on July 23, the closing ceremonies will round out the two-week extravaganza on August 8. Fans can watch the event in primetime at 7:30 p.m. EST/4:30 p.m. PST, or and will air live in the United States at 6:55 a.m. EST/3:55 a.m. PST. At press time, Olympic history is being made, as it will be NBC’s first-ever morning broadcast window when opening ceremonies officially begin. The same can be said for the closing ceremonies as well.

As it currently stands, the NBC broadcast team will consist of Cara Banks, a Golf Channel host, Carolyn Manno, CNBC’s Shepard Smith, and Meghan Tripplett, a correspondent for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies.

Rebecca Chapman, Vice President and Coordinating Producer of NBC Olympics Production, was excited about the depth of talent that the broadcast of the Games will be able to bring together.

"“We are excited to announce this dynamic group of hosts who will help us tell the stories of these Olympics across the networks of NBCUniversal,” she said in a press release."
