UFC Vegas 32: Cory Sandhagen vs. T.J. Dillashaw fight card, start time, channel guide.

UFC Vegas 32 goes down on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, NV. The fight card will include twelve matchups with a variety of storylines including, the return of T.J. Dillashaw, top ten women’s bantamweight going to battle, and Adrian Yanez vs. Randy Costa being a potential fight of the year. With 24 fighters looking to put on a show, UFC Vegas 32 is a must-watch event for MMA fans.

We first met Dillashaw 10 years ago when he competed on the Ultimate Fighter Season 14 with a 4-0 record. Dillashaw ended up making it to the season finale but lost to John Dodson by first-round KO. Despite the brutal loss to Dodson, Dillashaw was offered a UFC contract and made the most of it. Dillashaw started his UFC tenure with a chip on his shoulder, winning his first four fights. Little did we know, this was only the start of Dillashaw’s wild journey.

Dillashaw was starting to emerge as a contender until suffering a small setback with a split decision loss to Raphael Assuncao. Similar to his first loss, Dillashaw bounced back with four straight wins. During that win streak, Dillashaw successfully became the UFC Bantamweight Champion, beating Renan Barao at UFC 173. After defending the belt twice, Dillashaw ended up losing to Dominick Cruz. Once again, Dillashaw bounced back with a four-win streak.

At this point, Dillashaw’s career began to hit peak highs and lows. Dillashaw successfully won his rivalry over Cody Garbrant and avenged his loss to Assuncao. Unfortunately for Dillashaw, his reign of terror came to an end when Henry Cejduo beat him in only 30 seconds for the UFC flyweight title. Dillashaw was ready for redemption, but a failed drug test led him to a two-year suspension. Going into UFC Vegas 32, Dillashaw’s suspension is officially up, and he is ready to fight his way back to the bantamweight title.

Since joining the UFC in 2018, Sandhagen has been one of the most dynamic strikers on the UFC roster. Training with Elevation Fight Team, Sandhagen has always had the potential to be a champion. After successfully finishing his first three UFC opponents, the MMA world realized we had a new contender in the bantamweight division.

Sandhagen ended up winning two more fights to round off a five-fight win streak in the UFC. Riding a wave of momentum, Sandhagen’s next test on his journey to UFC gold would be Alajamain Sterling. Unfortunately for Sandhagen, Sterling was the better fighter that night and got the finish by first-round submission. With that being said, Sandhagen came back more dangerous than ever.

Losing in the UFC sucks both mentally and physically, but Sandhagen handled it well. After getting his first UFC loss, Sandhagen went up against top-ranked bantamweights Marlon Moraes and Frankie Edgar. Not only did he beat them, but Sandhagen also produced must-see KOs. Now holding a record of 14-2, Sandhagen seems to be one fight away from earning a title shot.

In the co-main event, two ranked women’s bantamweight take the next step towards a title shot. Aspen Ladd will go up against Macy Chiasson in a matchup set to shake up the women’s bantamweight division. Also, UFC Vegas 32 features several stylistic masterpieces including, Yanez vs. Costa, Punahele Soriano vs. Brendan Allen, Maycee Barber vs. Miranda Maverick, and Kyler Phillips vs. Raulian Paiva. From top to bottom, UFC Vegas 32 is filled with fights you do not want to miss.
